Lisa Davies & Philosophy

Meet Lisa Davies

I have been training in the lower mainland for ten years and have dedicated my life to working with dogs and helping families teach their puppies, adult dogs, or newly adopted dogs, learn to be well adjusted members of the community!!

My goal is to help dogs end up in shelters less frequently by teaching dog education through positive methods. We constantly misunderstand what our dogs are trying to tell us and this can cause so many behavioral issues on the dogs part and frustration on the human’s part!! I want to bring this communication gap closer, so that we can understand our dog’s better and help them learn what’s expected in our human world!

Continuing education is the key to being a good trainer. I constantly update my education by attending seminars and courses every year. I am excited to presently be a student with Jean Donaldson’s world class dog training academy. This is a long and intensive program that will add to my skills and knowledge as a dog trainer. Jean Donaldson is one of the world’s leading trainers/behaviorists and I look forward to being a graduate of this program!!

“I took level one and two canine classes for my pup Snoopy and we had a wonderful experience. Both classes were organized very well and through them I learned essential dog manner techniques. At the same time Snoopy made many new friends, as he enjoyed his learning. As a result, Snoopy is a well mannered and playful puppy. Lisa is a friendly and enthusiastic trainer and we would recommend Lisa’s class to any dog owner.”
